The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with Senior Financial Manager to develop financial strategies for the organization. You are comfortable handling large amounts of data, acting as a business partner, decision maker, and providing regular financial reporting.

Key accountabilities:

  • Business Planning, Budgeting, Reporting and Management accounting, taxation and insurance
  • Treasury activities -comprising co-ordination/ follow up with the banks for working capital and loan agreement execution and management of loan covenants etc.
  • Complete financial accounting, forecasting, and deliver reports and metrics to leadership
  • Capital marketing issues and listing procedures

Experience and Educational qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting (CA/ CPA).
  • Additional CFA/ MBA (Finance) preferable with a minimum experience of 8-10 years handling the managerial position in a project based company and/or company involved in similar operations
  • Experience of working in the oil and gas industry and preferably within the LNG industry
  • Strong background in Business planning, Budgeting, Management reporting and accounting with strong accounting knowledge of IFRS and GAAP standards.
  • Experience of treasury related activities comprising the dealing with banks for project financing and working capital facilities etc.
  • Good knowledge and working experience about the Taxation and insurance in Greece and across the wider European region.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Financial Manager is member of the development team for MedGas, a new company developing the Volos LNG-NG Terminal.

FM reports to the Development Manager. FM will be responsible for all the financial tasks of the development of the Volos LNG-NG MedGas is undertaking, including but not limited to; formulation / updating of the financial model for the project as the project business plan for the project evolves. FM coordinates with other development team members to obtain and update input data to the financial model, with emphasis on precise definitions, accuracy and timeliness.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Development Engineer – Technical Manager is member of the development team for MedGas, a new company developing the Volos LNG-NG Terminal. Financial Manager reports to the Development Manager.

  • DE-TM will be responsible for all the engineering activities of the project extending from Establishing the FSRU specifications (including the storage and the regasification) portions of the offshore parts. This will cover mooring provisions for the FSRU and the LNG vessels delivering LNG to the Volos complex. The details for the connections between the FSRU and the LNG Vessels.
  • The marine connections to the onshore facilities of Volos LNG-NG including appropriate Natural Gas pipeline and utilities required aboard the FSRU e.g., water, electricity etc.
  • The engineering of the onshore facilities will include NG storage of appropriate capacity and connection to the Natural Gas Network operated by the TSO.
  • In addition, the engineering of equipment to be located in the onshore yard of the Volos MedGas to export CNG as well as LNG on railroad / trucks.
  • The DE-TM will be assisted with one engineer and possibly a procurement specialist. The DE-TM will make recommendations to the DM for engaging engineering contractors and or specialized technical consultants for required studies.
  • The DE-TM will coordinate with the LPM the technical data required for the licenses and permits.

JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Licensing and Permitting Manager is member of the development team for MedGas, a new company developing the Volos LNG-NG Terminal. LPM reports to the Development Manager.

LPM will be responsible for preparing a matrix of all licenses and permits that have to be Prepared so as to attain the approvals required for all the activities of the project. The order securing the licenses and permits is to be included in the master list of the licenses and permits.

 

For each license or permit, the LPM will establish the receiving governmental authority, the requirements and the submittals and the review authority review process.

The LPM will coordinate the preparation of the EIA including identifying appropriate consultants to hire a well-qualified consultant for the EIA and other license / permit.

The LPM will coordinate with the DE-TM performing studies that need to be completed to secure required data.

The LPM will coordinate with other development managers, and in particular with the Development Engineer obtaining the technical data required for all the submittals.

The LPM will issue regular reports to the DM with regards the progress of securing the licenses and permits on the master list.

He/she will work alongside the front office business leads for LNG Trading and Origination as one of the core internal and external business champions. The LNG expert will lead the Mediterranean, Western Balkans, SE Europe, Europe and Africa portfolio build out directly and be a key element of global LNG strategy development and make the market test of the FSRU terminal capacity allocation.

Key Responsibilities:

As a key commercial representative in this role will be responsible for establishing a deeper marketing presence across all the regional players for LNG and help deliver MEDGAS's capabilities in structuring and execution of transactions.

  • High knowledge of the LNG market, including LNG supply value-chain, LNG producers from US, Gulf and Africa, LNG consumers, and capacity allocation holders.
  • LNG pricing and execution, including NBP, TTF, Brent index, other related pricing models.
  • MSPAs, MSAs, Notification Papers, Confirmation Notes, LNG bank LC process and execution.
  • Originate, process and execute LNG source in close coordination with the LNG Trading and Origination functions.
  • Championing regional opportunities in LNG (and related cross commodity plays) to help all levels of the organization deepen their understanding of the market.
  • Analysis and structuring of transactions in the region. The role will be critical to framing, evaluating and closing commercial opportunities across Middle East, Europe and Africa.
  • Sign up new customers/ LNG producers, including managing the sign-up of master sales agreements and other contractual frameworks.
  • Cross commodity origination for wider capabilities (NGLs, power, renewables, derivatives) opportunistically to covered CPs.
  • Identify opportunities for Investments, financing, MOUs, JVs and M&A within LNG and related sectors that create trading value for the LNG business.
  • Create and monetize opportunities in LNG break bulk/ small scale LNG.

Organize market tests and proceed all capacity allocation of the FSRU terminal to the capacity holders.

Assist/lead projects as required and function as team-player with the other members of the team.

Maintain and enhance the company's reputation as a reliable and reputable business partner.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ Years’ Experience in LNG supply, trading, origination, deal execution and analysis role within LNG and physical gas, preferably gained within an oil and gas major, LNG producer, large-scale consumer, utility, or commodity trading house.
  • Commercial and analytical skillset.
  • Proven track record of delivery.
  • Excellent understanding of the LNG market and its commercial and operational characteristics (cargoes, shipping, charters, regas, liquefaction, FSRU capacity allocation, market tests, storage).
  • Fluent English
  • Willingness to travel frequently
